oh dear...

Point out any large differences between the RAF CH2 Chinook and the US/dutch etc Chinooks and I bet you wont find anything that would be worth making anouther model for and can easily be done by a texture tweak or a child object...

I'd rather you make a Sea King or whatever the USMC uses as their twin rotor helo, that or the 53E

Chinooks with mid air refueling arms are use but not as much as the current PR model, sorry but no need for a new once since there all based off 1 model(PR one)

Maybe you should give those 3 a try, rather than remake the Chinook. :)

NHI NH90
NHI NH90 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Eurocopter AS 532 UL/AL ''Cougar''
Eurocopter AS 532 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Eurocopter AS3 AS 332B / AS 332M / AS 332M1 ''Super Puma''
Eurocopter AS332 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

All 3 of them are either currently in use or being bought by many factions in PR (being made or in the current release). Especially for MEC it would be nice to see one of those being used as a light transport chopper aside of the heavier (equivalent of the Chinook) Mil Mi-17.
All this according to someones suggestion of having 3 different classes (Heavy CH-47, Medium BH, Light LB) of transport choppers for every major faction. (charliegrs was it?).

Marines use Sea Knight, and unless you want to make the map for it then there's just another waste of a model

I have to disagree, just from looking at those pictures the Chinook is longer, has bigger engines, and has a lot longer bulges on the sides. Also the cockpit area is shaped differently, and it has the mid air refueling boom out the front.

Also the Chinook has four wheels compared to the Sea Knights Three.

Those pictures provide no sense of scale. The Sea Knight is about the size of a Black Hawk.
