Not sure if iraq ever got their hands on thoose? Didnt they just update the Hinds with somewhat same armament?

Re: MEC/(Russian?) Attack Helicopter
been suggested already
Think the reason they dont have it also is the fact that its a transport and a terrible gunship and they'd like to differentiate the two
Maybe if we get a RU vs Chec map youll get this but not until

Re: MEC/(Russian?) Attack Helicopter
I still think the MEC should get the HIND. Kashan gets 3 transports, one of which is the HIND. Take off one or so BMP-3's and there you go.

Re: MEC/(Russian?) Attack Helicopter
honestly I see no issue with Assymetrical balancing at all, thats what real life is pretty much. We dont need 2 havocs 2 Apaches for that map make it like 2 apaches 1 Hind or something. Its kind of dull its like Americas Army where you always play the good guy, in this case the boredom stemming from how similiar most land locked maps are
And DOH!!!!!!!! Thanks Rich for reminding me about that my head was in .75 for some reason hahaha

Re: MEC/(Russian?) Attack Helicopter
But I agree! I'd like to see Hinds in PR with Russia or MEC. Hinds are a great asset if used correctly, pretty much like an airborne BMP-3. I think replacing one of the two Mi-17 on Kashan with a Hind would be nice.
The only problem is certain players will try to use it like an Attack Chopper, but the same problem can be seen with BMP-3s used like tanks. Like a BMP-3 versus a tank, the Hind would not be good enough to rivalise equal-to-equal with a full fledged Attack Helo, but would have decent defences against heavy armor and certain air assets.
And seriously, the gunship support from a Hind unloading troops on a hot LZ is always appreciated IMO.

Speaking about people wanting Hinds: let russkies have them on maps against chechen rebels.
Or lets have a Soviet-Afghan war minimod
