But, I am a little worried at the same time. What happened last year? Did the Insurgency win anything else other than players choice MOTY?
last year the setup was very different, for a start the Editor's Choice awards where announced after the player's choice, this year its the other way around, with many more types of editor choice awards this year too.

Last year thou, all mods that where awarded the editor's choice awards didn't even get mentioned in the player's choice awards, I think they wanted to show off some good undiscovered mods.

This year, I dunno if the same will apply, I hope not. I would have thought we have enough votes to easily get into the top 5 in the Player's Choice awards, but ehhh, I dunno hehe, just have to wait and see :)

Congratulations Project Reality! One big award done, one other to go!

You've already won the Torque engine now, what are the plans for it!?

THEY HAVENT WON ANYTHING BESIDES A BIGGER E-PENIS

The prizes are for the player votes not the editors choice.

Pwnage :D

'Grats on the win and the TGEA engine. From what I've seen of it, the GFX abilities ain't too hot, but with a full engine, you'd be able to upgrade that, change *everything*.

Assuming the engine itself is useful and not a lemon, that is. It'd probably be much MUCH more adaptable than the BF2 engine, but given the amount of work that's gone into PR so far, and that the team would have to start again from the ground up, even if they choose to eventually use the TGEA, I very much doubt it'll be before 1.0.

Most likely, if the engine is attractive enough, the team will get to the fabled 1.0 on BF2 then start again on TGEA.

So... wasn't the MotY supposed to be announced yesterday? Or did I miss something there?

Player's Choice for Best Unreleased mod was announced yesterday, think the Best Released mod is today.

Good news.
Mount and Blade won the Indie Game of the Year too after they won the Editors Choice.
(Some people thought PR only won the Editors Choice because they werent succesfull in the Players Choice).
So I think its still possible to win an Editors and a Players Choice.
Hope PR will do the same ;)
