Insurgency Game mode ADD!

Far too often, the insurgents(on basrah specially ), drive all the way up to the brit main base, jump up on the sandbags or whatever, and start throwing nades, rpgs, molos or shooting 50'cal at the brit technicals/choppers. A way too loose alot of tickets, without the vehicles even being used. - And this would never happen in reality.

In reality theres guard teams, forming a perimeter, well.. wont happen in a game except for a community match maybe. So why not:

Add a warning bell, when insurgents are xxx meters near the mainbase? Just an alarm clock all over mainbase, to atleast give people a chance to get on their marks!

Humm it already has a dome of death and people still find a way to not feel safe in it ? :roll:

I suppose they could increase the size of the dome a bit ... but if we continue in this direction they'll soon not even be able to cross the bridges ;)

Its a great idea, doesn't limit enemy movements, but it gives the Brits a chance to defend their main and on top of that it is realistically based. Excellent suggestion, and I think its implementable.

also has a couple of other uses maybe, e.g. if an enemy jet comes near ur base on Kashan...but that might be harder

nice idea mate, 10+.
How to incorporate it though???? How can you make the siren realise enemies???
Hope its fitted into next release, you could get rid of the dome of death all together then, more realism and would be cool, we have all wanted to climb in the watch towers and on the Parking lot to defend at some point.................

Maybe a comm sound saying "enemy contacts near the base!", that are sounded by intercoms/speakers, and are triggered by enemies walking on terrain within the main's FOV (field of view).

It's doable, I'm sure, right? Would be a great compromise between the DoD and the lack of players to defend.

Maybe the Devs could script a few watch towers so then someone can climb up and use their Binoculars to spot a bit.

Put invisible "UAV effect" over main base. When the uav radar spot something, it makes this faint "beep". Change the beep for the air raid siren.

Devs script a wut?

Step 1: Climb into a watch tower. (Most main bases have them)

Step 2: Take out your binoculars.

Step 3: Begin spotting.

That would be heard everywhere though. Just make it a sound triggered by approaching the main.

why don't you just make the sand bag wall bigger and taller so they cant see into the base then the INS wont be camping you from the wall because its pointless if you cant see easy to do too.

And what about a mode "convoy ambush" in which it is necessary to accompany an escort convoy from a point "A" to point "B" through, the mountain pass, or winding road ?
