[Need UV] Diemaco C7 series. (based off PR m16 and m4.)

Post by Martin »

Hi guys,

These have been laying around for a while and are based of the PR M16A4 series.
However they need to be uvmapped, i think the uv of the m16a4 can be used for this aswell? I don't know much about uvmapping though.
Whoever's up for it would do us a huge favour as this is one of the few things remaining to complete the dutch armed forces infantry part.

Hi KP,

Problems we have none what so ever ref, all we have is what i posted on the con forum a while back, so i am afraid we need to improvise a little bit, i dont think people will notice if we do.

Don't you have Dutch army people to talk to? If all else fails, you could ask the Dutch Army themselves for pictures. For the C14, I sent a mail directly to the manufacturer asking for pics.

The Ag36 will do, all you have to change is the ironsights on it, we dont use it, i'll make a pic this week and send it.

Think both C7A1's wil do.
The C7 handguard should be changed (probarly never get anny attachments), and the iron sight is fited to the weapon. not placed on a rails.

Looks very promesing!

We know, nemean.
However this makes things easier and as were looking a bit to the future (SMP)
We'll go with this.
However we are considering placing the normal frontgrip.
And as for the ironsigh, it's a A1.

The optical underslung sight was abandon last year right?
We hade the optical, but it hase been replaced by the "lader" sight.. (teveel onderhoud? bezuinigingen?)

And concerning the A1, i know but i was sugesting to the 3the picture,
the A1 series normaly dont have iron sight, (and if they do the use the reserve sight).
The C7 dont have any form of rails.
Having the rails on the A1 think is a very good id, but looking to the near future.
you should start looking at Voss/Smp.
They want all weapons (diemaco's And minimi's) with a front handgrip, Aimpointers/eotech sight, adjustable stock like the c8.

Wasn't aware of the AG36, haven't worked with it in quite a while.
Yeah theyre also thinking about getting C7A2's.
We have a few choices;

Diemaco's as they are used right now.
Diemaco's with rails.
C7A2's.
Diemaco C7A1's with rails and adjustable stock.

There is a C7A2 ingame though.

So, we could use the C7A2 as the USMC uses M16A4 with Acog.
And as a M16A4 with ironsights if we get an ironsight on it. (or backup sights indeed.)
Then use the C8A1 for crewman / hat / anti-air etc?

Discussions, discussions, discussions.. =p

So it'll be a C7A1 with the M16A2-style handguard with the AG36? Or the M16A4-style handguard + AG36?

The C8 is basically the M4 with Thermold mags?

a2 frontgrips.
and according to nemeanhavoc we use LADDER sights on the AG36. (the optic's got thrown out last year.)

And yeah, the C8 is basically an m4 with thermold mag.

Okaydokay. That means a bit less work for me. What sort of sights on the C8? I'll just add a Thermold mag to the M4 model from PR.

Well if you could, reserve flip up sights for the c8, and an elcan version of the c8.
same for the c7a1, flip up and elcan.

Awesome work KP :) i owe ya.

C7A1 done, except the GL version, which needs some more work on the GL bit.
C8 done, if you want the RIS handguard that's on the PR M4. Is that right?

Note: they're using ordinary ironsights (i.e. carrying handles). Haven't found the time to make flip-up ones. Been sorting stuff out for the Army, as I'm leaving again this afternoon. Might be able to get some work done when I get up there, though, depending on when the flight arrives.
