Was a nice game tho, Rudd, alas we held as long as we could against the angry hordes of chopper-crashers from the US side!
but got to agree with those already pointed. To have a channel/server-side option for admins to be able to disable FCC. Also, some ''more official'' instructions for people on the Mumble ''rules'' and how to use the Squad Leader channels effectively would be apperciated.
The music problem should be adressed by rules and an etiquette ;
FCC broadcasting of music/sounds/etc should be strictly forbidden
Positional broadcasting of music should be allowed, but with the broadcaster showing restraint ;
- By not broadcasting at moments that would hamper gameplay (i.e : a firefight, while sneaking on the enemy, when everyone hears, during the start of the round (forbidden!), etc...)
- By not broadcasting if the sound/music/etc annoys other mumblers in the area
- By not broadcasting too much, as it can detract players from the gameplay and hamper their perfomances (it's alright to play some songs as a pilot or driver while on the way, but don't play those during the whole round, it'll get boring and annoying after a few times.)
- By not broadcasting offensive, sexual or racial content of any form.
- FCC (Force Center Communicatiion) broadcasting of any sounds or songs is strictly forbidden.
- Use of FCC unless in the respective Squad/team channel is forbidden. Even there, it should be used only for essential communications.
- ''Mic Checks'' with FCC are forbidden, check it out when you're ingame and close to other mumblers, or else it will hamper communications for all mumblers.
- Refrain from insulting deadmen too much, it can be fun sometimes but too much can offend or annoy players. This includes Teabag..
