what do you guys think of a mumble "lifeguard" channel? and whoever has a complaint for an admin can go to the channel and explain to the admin whos in it.

Why would you want to play music while playing? I mean, if only you hear it, no problem, but I'd not be happy if suddenly all I'd hear was a song instead of the game.

Two people in favor both named chris, must be a coincidence..

Anyhow, I would really NOT appreciate it if anyone played music through Mumble. If you or anyone else wants to listen to music while gaming, just play it locally, don't send it over the internet. 'Cause if you do, I'm pretty sure more people will be around that DON'T want you playing it 'versus' that random player that does want it.

My advice: don't. It will probably get you banned off servers anyways...

Don't worry, I get that alot too ... Plus requests for my ''Balls of steel'' imitation

DO NOT play music during firefights. It's very annoying and it reduces your ability to concentrate.

If you want to play music, be sure those around you want to. The best moments are during boredom moments or while transporting people in HMMWVs, RIBs, Choppers, APCs, Trucks ...

Wow lots of music haters on here. Not meaning to be rude, but if you dont like the music he is playing, walk 10 ft away and it magically disappears. Or did you all think he was going to force center it the whole round at an extremely loud volume. While he was playing music the other night i could still hear everyone around me fine. Mumble has good sound quality, so it is nothing like those times people tried playing music over voip and ruined squad communication.

If you have XP:

Start>Run>sndvol32>Output>Tick "What U Hear" instead of "Microphone"

No idea how you do this on Vista and is dependent on soundcard too.

The biggest advantage is that this way exactly the sound your PC is playing will be sent (so just have the music player play in the background).

yes.... I think there is a time and place I guess for comic relief and whatever... But, playing music in-game over mumble is just silly.
