I could do the UV if you want me to. I did it for my own shotgun, so I have more than a basic idea for this process

Note that it could probably use PR's UV maps and texture sheets for the most part, as it's actually bits and pieces from PR weapons put together. Ask one of the DEVs, maybe?
NOTE: The GL version still needs to be completed before UVing and so on. And I think the placement of the Elcan might be off.

found another 'bug' kp, there's a few parts on the receiver of the c7a1's that are from the c7a2 and shouldnt be there.

1. The metal plate thing just infront of the stock from the c7a2, shouldnt be there on the c7a1.

2. and the charging handle is c7a2 type, should be the same like the m16a4's and m4's.

Thanks!

True, now why didnt I spot that :/

The C7A1 is essentially a M16A4 when it comes to appearance.

Isnt it possible to just use the M16A4 M203 ACOG version, throw away the ACOG attach the ELCAN, throw away the M203 and click on the AG36?

Honestly, who will ever notice besides hardcore AR-15 people?

Just a suggestion. All it would require is a new thermold mag perhaps. development time is like a day for all the C7A1's like this.

hehe, i first noticed it when opening up in 3dsmax.

Anyway well we did that with the m16a4's.
However we use A2 style handguards, so yeah.
receivers are from the m16/m4 though.

GGuys do any of you have all the original AR15 rifles from Katarn? I'm waiting on him right now so I can have an idea of how he put together the different UVs for his original rifles. Mat ID wise I mean. It would help alot since if Im right you guys are looking to use some of the textures from the original M16 model right? Or am I mistaken?
PS Sorry aout referring to you guys as the Canadian Forces, for some reason I think the C designation made me think it was canadian :-\ woops

yeah I was trying to apply the texutres to the guns for you, but I must be doing something wrong cause the foreearm texture would go on the reciever the stock on the barrel it wasnt pretty :(
Oh yeah you might want to use the Thermold Mag from your C7A1 Iron sight and copy that to the otehr 4 cause that's the only mag I wanted to have to UV
