Hello PR How is every one I am new here to PR. I am looking forward to playing I am ret army and and have lots of real world tactics and training to offer. Oh if any one could tell me how to get the game to work that would be great. Single player stars but crashs back to desk top and the on line pr tells me to push alt F4 for somthing and i cant play so any help please would be great thx.

LOL alt F4.... no.. no...

no alt F4... thats the kill program shortcut.

Read the manual, that should help with gameplay.

Actually its mandatory to be honest.

As for the game installation, im sure you did somethign wrong.

There are posts here explaining how to properly install PR, you should find it quickly.

First of ALt F4 s a joke people use when dealing with new guys, if someone asks for something some people will say "Alt F4 does that" or something, but Alt F4 just closes the program. Its kinda funny when you see it happen, I did it myself when I first got it (doh!). btw RTFM stands for Read The F****** Manual incase you see that.

You'd have to be more specific about you're computer etc. I have Windows Vista, and if thats what your using, it doesn't like Project Reality too much, but It runs okay for me.

Make sure you have Battlefield 2 Patched to the latest version.Then Multiplayer installed , thats the core and levels (in that order). Then the Brand new SinglePlayer, Core and Levels again.

Other things that might help, make sure you run PR as an administrator, do this by changing the Properties of the Project Reality shortcut on your desktop.

If you didn't start PR properly and the shaders didn;t load i think you used to get a screen telling you to alt-f4 to close the programme and start it using the PR short cut. I had a problem with them once. Don't know if that still happens in this version.

Nope, this version uses regular BF2 exe again.

Dont ask why.

I still dont know.

Its what caused battledirector not to work with our new release.

Theres a different program that does work with the BR files like Battledirector did. On my mac partition right now so I cant use it. Its a machinima dk domain website somewhere. Look around in the bugs forum.

Lol, i know cyberzomby, i was the one who got Machinima to remake his program to work for our new PR release through the battledirector forums. Hes a quick guy. He made that patch in one day and released his 1.1 version the very next day. Hes good guy.
