[Help] Custom Map Not Starting

Hi Everyone i havnt posted for a while ive created a custom map and ive uploaded it to the server ive tried stat the server and it says starting server then it says stopped if i use a defualt map it works fine is this a problem with the server or the map if so what can it be

You can start the map on local you know.

yh but it isnt showing up in local

your shortcut is pointing to pr_edit pr not normal pr right.

but ive packed and also tried to access it in normal pr and its not in any pr or pr_edit

Only other thing I can think of right now is you might of packed it wrong? you should be able to play it on a local while it is unpacked. Have you ever been able to play it Ingame at all, before you tried it on the server?

firstly, use some periods please when posting.

secondly its a problem with your info folder. If you are trying to run it in a LAN game, and its not showing up, go to map_name>info. You should see a file there named map_name.desc. My suggestion is to copy the .desc file from another map to your map and rename the file and this line
<name> map_name </name>
so they are spelled exactly as your map is.

ok. i tried it and copied the 7gates.desc file and renamed it but it still, hasnt worked.

i also edited the .desc file <name> map_name </name> to what it needed to be and it still didnt show up.
