When I'm playing, that shit won't happen, I don't care who you are.

And people need to learn to shut up and not be talking all the time just because they can.

Why not? Because some people hate it if their gaming experience is anything short of super-duper realistic. When this is the case those people are getting way too into it! Sometimes it's damn awesome to kick back, crank up the tunes, and open a can of wupass.

But then again, it's not über-realistic then. But I prefer a bit less realism and a helluva lotta fun than dead seriousness and less fun.

One thing I find funny are the people who haven't ever experienced the music ingame, yet still complain....

EDIT: This problem is fixed as soon as the issue of players not ingame hear audio of those who are is fixed.

Playing music in game over mumble is a pain. Don't do it, if u want to listen to music on ur own computer be my guest and do it. I do not like having to hear music in game. U can not hear gunfire from afar and also if you play music and people on the other side is in the channel and 70m close they can use u as a way to find the squad and kill u. So I for one is against it.

lol.... I guess I have lived a "sheltered" life and I have yet to broaden my sensory experiences.... Nevertheless, this statement has regrouped my original thoughts that this conversation, in its entirety, is silly...

What the hell? Did I mention you in there anywhere? No, I didn't, I KNOW you've experienced it as I've seen you ingame before while broadcasting. Don't think i'm trying to have some retarded little fight with you. We just have different opinions, that's all.

how is music ingame beneficial?
I've never player PRMP, much less PRMP with music, but whenever I play PRSP with music I find it's much harder to identify and stay aware of the enemy using one of the few senses available in PR: sound. I can't imagine how bad it would be while working against other humans and trying to cooperate on a squad level.
All the videos I've seen where someone tries to put music on it just kills the immersiveness and reality.

for those saying its not realistic music is played in psych-ops it brings the fear into the enemy when you drown out the sound with music and flank them, but this wont work well unless mumble is built into the game

Well, from what I've heard of my music in peoples YouTube videos of epic mumble nights, I've got it at just the right volume level. The music doesn't blast, it blends just about perfectly. Distant gunshots are still easily heard.

EDIT: Again, don't knock it 'till you've tried it.

Chris have you ever been intimate with a man? Well dont knock it till you tried it.

If you want to play music in mumble do it on your own server. And not everyone has the same volume level or settings as you, so some may find it irritating.

I think that if you keep this attitude up, it wont be long untill your banned from several servers and mumble servers.

Step carefully

You idiots, I don't mean to be rude but USE YOUR FREAKING HEADS!!!!

They made this little button called mute for a reason. If you don't like it mute the player.

Calm down everyone! Some people like it, some people don't.

If you are playing where the majority don't, don't play it.

First, I am not an idiot (nor are many of the others within this thread). I am a well educated person who is very considerate of others and I am, seemingly, very patient with others who are not :)

Secondly, while in-game the last thing I want to do -while in a fire fire-fight- is to alt-tab and mute somebody who feels the need to play their ipod over the internet.

Lastly, if you cannot provide any sort of meaningful logic other than resorting to a name calling rant you ought not to participate in any sort of meaningful conversation in the future...

*in other words change your tune or don't bother singing along :) pun intended.
