Healing You (the Medic)

Ok searched for the game this idea comes from but found nothing in forums except for when BlakeJr wasn't a dev.
The idea is for the medic bag and making it easier to heal yourself. It's like in Medal of Honor Pacific Assault. The medic has the bandage(in this game it will be a medic bag) where left click heals friendlies. the right click would be for healing yourself. This way its easier to heal yourself without having to do all this contortion and if you're trying to hide you dont have to make that much movement.

I don't know, it's pretty good that the medic is occupied in a weird stance when healing himself.. somehow.

What it shows IMO is that he is looking after himself, and is rendering himself combat innefective, so can't spot out enemys or anything.

I think its more of a bug than a feature. That you can heal yourself with the medic bag.

I remember playing Medal Of Hono Pacific Assoult! I do not see it as a good idea for pr .... I only fear at the thought of seeing hordes of zombie doctors!

Oh no! I'm shot in both arms and bleeding terribly... Medic bag hovers in front and heals... Ah.... ready to fight again. The whole idea of him healing himself is dumb anyway, the only reason it is in is probably because of a glitch.

First off it is not a bug.

Second you should not be looking around when you are trying to patch your self up.

I think it's a great idea. I want to be able to run over open terrain and heal myself while being able to see where I'm going. That will give me a higher chance to survive when being shot at.

no no this isnt so you can run around spamming it
Maybe make it work slightly slower for the medic to prevent that but the medic as is is annoying as hell trying to get the the angle just right to heal myself

Well, I gotta admit that sometimesit don't work. Ex- tonight on fallujah. I had been hit, take my buddys medic kit, and go around the side of building for a quick patchup.

I go prone, straight down, hold left click. Nothin. Straight up, nothin. I repeat while crouching, then while standing. Nothing!

As I said, I think it's bugged at times. Maybe increase the range of view/heal from straight 90 degrees to a range of anywhere in 80-90 degrees.

Or maybe the fact it wasn't working is because I was an insurgent using a US corpsman kit. Go figure

It always works, sometimes it doesn't display the healing icon, but it is healing you...

The medic symbol doesnt always show up.

When you are prone you have to look straight up (90 degree angle), you cant heal crouched, standing look up or down (90 degree angles).

I was trying to heal myself, so prone, looked down, and held the mouse button...I nearly bled out doing that....

When you are prone, you look up to heal.

for me, if i just look down to heal my self it does not work.

i have to basically "teabag" the ground for the medic bag to actually heal me.
