Project Reality Fan Kit & DVD

Alright, if you didn’t already know, [R-CON]Riki_Rude is putting together a DVD containing the new PRMM v0.3 client to distribute around his local gaming stores and internet cafes. The DVD will also be sent to any members who wish to do the same in their local community. This is an awesome way to promote Project Reality and get the word out in your hometown.

The DVD is going to also have other Project Reality resources available on it, sort of like. I have teamed up with him to get together some of these “extras.” Here is my plan:

I am going to get together a Project Reality Fan Kit. This kit will contain the following:

-PR Wallpapers
-PR “Link to Us” web graphics for website owners to display.
-PR Movies i.e. trailers (if there are any)
-PR Forum signatures (like PR realistic medic, etc.)
-The PR interview that was broadcast on WebTurds radio.
-An exclusive interview with some PR Dev’s and Beta Testors in an audio format. (I need to confirm this with some Dev’s)
-Anything else you guys can think of!

So here is what I am asking from you, the loyal PR community:

1.) Please email at the address below with any Project Reality wallpapers you guys have. There are some guidelines that MUST be followed before your wallpapers will even be considered, so please read them and follow them all before emailing me:

-Must be NO SMALLER than 1024x768.
-Must contain the Project Reality website address in the following format: http://realitymod.com.
-Must NOT INLCUDE your, or the authors, name anywhere on the wallpaper. Credit will be given to you in an included readme file!

Only the best 10-20 wallpapers will be chosen. If ANY of the above requirements are not met, your wallpaper will be immediately discarded.

2.) Please post any questions you might want to ask the PR founders or developers in an interview below.

3.) Post any other ideas/changes you have that could make this idea better!

This PR Fan Kit will also be available for download of the internet, so getting the DVD is not the only way you will have access to it. So, get me those wallpapers, give me some interview questions, and throw your thoughts or ideas out on the table ASAP!

Nice. I'll be getting a DVD burner soon hopefully.

Please, please please make it nice and flash-like... like a PCGamer Demo disc, if you've seen one of them.

BTW Gaz, what installation software do you guys use for your PRMM installer?
If is not free, is there anyway I can get my hands on it from one of you?

COME ON EVERYONE, I NEED SOME QUESTIONS FOR THE DEVS AND SOME WALLPAPERS!!!!!

If that wallpaper wasn't mine, then you seriously need to check your mail.
You might not like it and you may decide not to use it but it IS in your inbox.

and about the soundtrack idea, go for it!

how about desktop themes and possibly a film from a tourney map??

oh and some one email future publishing and ask if one of the PC mags that they do would like to have a copy of the DVD.
