Idea for officers on Ins maps

Since killing a Cell leader gives the blufor team 7 intel points I think killing a blufor officer should deduct 7 intel points.

Reasons why: right now the only way to deduct them is by being civi and getting shot which no one does, even if the blufor are a bunch of trigger happy idiots and it would make it harder for the 'lone squads' that march around Ins maps with SL on front.

It would also give them a reason NOT to die as SL at least on Ins maps.

And would simulate blufor team losing intel on caches since the people responsible for knowing them would be dead.

oh! didnt even knew that it gave them so many points! Gotta pay some more attention when I play as one of those :o

Ontopic: I see where it goes. But I dont think I agree. When they discover a cache they radio it trough all units. so all units know where it is. (in real life I reckon) So when the squad leader dies they just relay the info to the second in command.

When I join the game, I dont care a slightest thing how many tickets does enemy asset X take, or how much our team loses with the destruction of asset Y.

Even if this would be implemented, only a minority would change their playing habit as an SL. I dont see anything wrong/right with the suggestion, but it still remains hidden from most of the playerbase.

On Ins maps people don't shoot other people for intel points, they shoot because of the kills.
Its not about tickets. Its about Inetel Points.

good idea but it should be that you will lose points if SL is kill ed b4 a certian time to make it like he hasent radioed it in yet

accutly me n a bunch friends do it all time on ins. maps we make a civi squad and stik to geather and make the other team kill 1 of us and wed revive and so on, done it many times and always works

the only thing i see a problem with this is bluefor would never see a cache again lol.

Ex. blue for has 35 out of 40 intel points

some armor kills a civi hiding with in ins lost 7 intel points the squad in the apc hops out and a rpg7 lands in there face -7 intel points a bomb car hits the main killing 2 full squad setting up a attack -14 intel points a civi runs on a bluefor grenade knowing and wanting it to kill him -7 intel.

now where back to only 0 of 40 intel points.

and we lost 18 tickets give or take.

now -1 intel point would work better and -7 if you knife a sl.
