Project Reality Tacticomic
Hey people!
Here's something I thought off 2 days ago. I made up a test example yesterday that seemed to work pretty good. Now I made something that can resemble a final edition.
The idea is to make a Project Reality manual in comic form. Something that does not go as deep as the PR Manual itself but does cover things like Assaulting, Flanking and advanced armor combat (in the later volumes). It will also cover the basic stuff.
Basicly the same idea as my Video Tutorials but those take a lot more time to put together so I wanted to start building a comiclike series first. That way I can base my videos on the comics.
What I want to know: Do you feel this idea can work? Would you use these if your a new player to get a better understanding about some subjects? And what do you think needs adding?
This is the first volume. It only contains one chapter at the moment:

Thats stuff that I want to know. If you think its to much words or to many lines in there. or still to much pro language (like PR language instead of English)

I think the idea could work and not only for new players, but also x of the old ones as well (depending on the content embedded in your tutorial).
Define irony. A bunch of guys playing PR year after year. A game teaching initiative as the prime mover.
However, in regard to EA, these guys never took the initiative.

Yea thats what Im hopin for as well. If I use tactics and stuff that way I can learn something to people who already started but havent got the heavy tactical stuff down.

This is a really good idea. It definitly need some editing/optimizing, some of the pages are pretty messy, and some of the points seem a bit obvious/unnesessary, but keep it up.

I started working on chapter 2 today. I made this volume for someone who decided to buy Battlefield 2 just to try Vanilla. So if your a more advanced player you prolly dont need to read this volume
Or skip to chapter 2.
@Bjoffe: had some trouble with the space available. So some pages might look messy. Thanks for pointing it out! Will go over it again when I feel I got all the content in the volume that I want.

Thx~ Im gonna show it to my friends who just decided to start playing.
Oh and I think it would be better if u mention about the officer kit.
Someone might end up saying, why do i need to wait 6000 seconds to respwan~ lol

great idea. but you really need to keep the wall of text down. as short and clear as possible.
also, use a spell checker for the text to avoid some typos i came across.

Thanks for the tips! need to work on this some more but gaming took more of my time recently
