Now it's been said but: Player controlled Mortars

Something i know and well all know to is many military forces use mortars and so do a lot of rag tag fighter groups.

But the thing i wonder is why hasn't it been put in PR as an assist or a drop item, that need 2 people to use it like one person to control the angle and direction well another controls the firing and reload. which from what i have seen in some videos on liveleak that seems like how they are used.
Just so it can't be one manned have it were you can't change spots when in the set mortar. also you would need spotters to help guide the mortar team to target which means one mortar could require almost an entire squad to make it work right.
Limiting one per side would keep it fair and not ruin the gameplay. To have spotters and not just the people firing it guide the round have it's minimum range like 500-800M, which would make it harder to see targets if your near the mortar. also so you can't rain an unlimited amount of rounds down on a target have it were it takes like 10 minutes or more to fully resupply.
Also admins can control baseraping like what they do a lot. and this would allow for a commander assist that can prove more useful to the team. or help give the commander more of a purpose.

Note: This would be very useful even if smoke rounds it only could fire.

I dunno what's happening, but from the looks of things, mortars are a long way off, 0.9+ it says in that thread.
