Change in Walking Animation and Stance
Ok, my suggestion has to do with the walking and stance of the soldiers
LiveLeak.com - Cordon And Soft Knock
The guys seem to have a predisposition to walk around when keeping their guns ready while providing as broad a profile as possible (to catch the bullets in the vest not through the arm pits) while back in the day the soldier was doing closer to what they seem to be doing with the game, provide as narrow a profile as possible, in effect make you a smaller target
So would it be possible to make the soldiers walk more perpendicular to the front? (if i said it ina w ay thats understandable)

Re: Change in Walking Animation and Stance
the reason it is like that is because as a first person shooter, we're not "looking around", we know the enemy is there, and both sides are performing an attack most of the game. =) That top picture is an Arma picture i assume, and is more of a "Ima take a leisurely stroll throw enemy infested areas"...
Sadly, it's not very applicable to this mod i don't feel... i would like it, but at the same it's not something I'd like to see... =/

ALRIGHT.. ON TOPIC..
Delta was suggesting that the player models utilize a squared stance rather than the bladed stance that is currently used. A squared stance ensures that a soldier is receiving maximum coverage of his body armor while engaging a target, while also affording more recoil absorption.
I suggested this in Chuc's devblog. +1 Delta.

Not for this current incarnation of PR, or at least until another animator is ready and willing.
You're looking at modifying potentially hundreds of 3p animations, as the upperbody is controlled on a per-weapon basis.

if anyone has done anything even faaarly close to combat( my example airsoft) u know u do NOT wanna hold ur gun rdy all the time, it just wears u up even whit a plastic gun

I agree with rampo (and others) here holding the weapon ready at all times is abit eer.. anyhow I know it could be a ***** to model.

Or its just not possible for this engine. The way it goes in this game is its always up. Dont make any remarks about that
If e modeled it to be at low ready all the time, you'd have like in CoD when sprint was put in the animatin didnt line up, so the gun was still at one's side when the 3P animation had a muzzle flash, making it look like it shot into the ground, but you still died
