Where is the pr guide?

Hello everyone, i got one question for you all.

Where is the guide for pr. Im currently learning 2 friends pr, and even though they are my friends its a PAIN IN THA A** since they started from zero, so i told them there was a guide and got a reply they couldnt enter it.

I tried and was asked for password since it was under construction.

Whats the meaning of locking a guide that saves so many hours for pepeole like me that want to teach others the art of pr, i mean i understand it has to be rebuilt, but atleast the old one can still be there

If i cant accsess that one are there any simple "10 steps not to be a noob" guides, because i get questioned like 67890 questions every second about the game, and to be honest i cant stand it.

Maybe there is a simple "noob" guide here on the forums, or somewhere else. Because i dont want to spend that smalla ammount of time i can play pr into teaching vanilla veterans how to play pr, last time i teached a friend he read the guide before he got into the game and that made him understand the structure alot easier!

if you download pr it comes with a guide.

Hmm, i cant check that, been removing that guidelink since i started back in 0.3. Allthough From what i remember you only got a html link to the guide and not a pdf or a textfile for offline reading.

Can anyone confirm this?

Well the guide thingy is Under Construction but im sure you have it. Search in Desktop or PR Files.

As i said, i remove it every new patch. So unless i redownload the core and maps, reinstall the current ver of pr i cant tell if they come along or not :/

the Guide had alot of specific info regarding various assets/game features, and had to be updated desperately, they are also adding more stuff like a deviation guide, on the PR site things like this tend to take a while to get done (check our the features page...it goes to the downloads page, and I think thats because it was still saying the stuff implemented in .7)

Well i dont need it.

Maybe to send it to these 2 new pr players, but since they just installed the game they should have it on their desktops if they didnt remove it out of old habbits.

Yes as i said i understand they need to uptate it in order to inform the new ones about the right things, those who have played doesnt read the guide, only the changelists.

But why take it away, things like "how to be a good squadmember" and stuff like that doesnt change between the patches, it stays.

Because those are the things they need to learn, trying to teach them the whole game ingame gets confusing for both me and them, things i take for granted they dont understand at all. And im bombarded with questions, so it would be really cool to send them for 10 minutes of reading and then i can teach them the remains!

I think they are updating the whole section in various ways, such as look/layout, and for them to modify these aspects, they had to take the whole thing down

Ok, its just that it could have stayed there, atleast it would have done some help, now players like these gets left out with no option when getting "rtfmd" in public games

I better write a simple guide myself, will post it here so others can use it.

I have the manual, but am wondering why I can't access the guide link at the top of the page. Keeps asking for username and password.
