Nice work so far,,

the blue texture for the sand under the shallow water would be a great idea...

we can easily add all our own custom textures... its not a big deal

I say go for a near night map and fiddle the lighting till you get something good..

Ive read this intire thread now, and I must say I like what I see. The things that would make this map stand apart from Barracuda is twofold:

A: The full moon aspect. words cannot express how awesome that would be.
B: assets, Ill leave it to you, but APCs wouldnt go amiss, but this is just personal ;)

I see certain complications with apcs at night (nightvision etc).

Under any circumstances, what makes this map so awesome is how the light is in dramatic contrast to the setting, paradise on earth combined with skies of doom. This is one of the most interesting maps Ive seen in PR since 0.7. Ofc Mutrah takes the Jaffa-cake (.:iGi:. thing), but this is really something! Go moon!

P.s.
I think Rhino is right when he talks about the light needing to be very dark, even more than on the (top) last screenshot!

SEXY STATICS FOR ISLAND CHAIN. Love it man. Mac is great. So are Apple Computers :P Anyway Perfect for that map.

mmm thats a good anime...but sorta of irrelevant to this map imo.

Very nice work, this is looking like Joint Operations maps, but on a smaller scale, and I friggin loved Joint Operations :D

Wow, those statics are awesome and so is the map! I'm really waiting for this.

For unknown reason those statics remind me of those Oseanian villages, which are built on the water. Would be cool to have these villages in PR. :D

Again any updates?

HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth

HI, i'm new to the forums, my bro told me to have a look into it, about the HMAS Kanimbla, I am posted to that floating rust bucket and we sail tomorrow, I'll try and get some good Photos and stuff for mod, it might take a month or so for me to get them back cause we are off for awhile.

I'll also try and get some detail photos of all the vehicles we are taking on board for the army this trip, but I won't get anything that is classified material. I also get full detail specs of the RHIBs (zodiacks). I can't get you anything to do with the special forces, but general army **** i can, I hope this will help.
