It's as realistic as tanks having canister shot, anti aircraft shells and M60s on a Huey, Forward grips on rifles, pistols for normal soldiers and the Russians having armor on every map. Just because it is realistic, doesn't mean it'll be in PR.

I don't think he was debating the gameplay implications, just that they are infact pretty realistic.

I think the standard loadout of rockets in afghanistan, on british apaches at least is 12 flechettes and 12 heisap, thing is, in game its basically the same so there is no real point in doing it.

Can't we just take a Hydra rocket, reskin it, then make it so that when it hits (or explodes midair), it has a larger area of damage, and does a lot of damage to infantry below?

Well the spread depends on the range, and they "separate" in mid air, all of which is not easy to do as far as I know, and in any case, there doesn´t seem to be much point.

Alex already has stated this....

and we all already know the devs are doing much more important stuff as stated several times in other suggestions (not just yours)

Personally i wouldn't be bothered about these, it's not really needed, like alot of other things. As other people have stated the devs are already busy, i would prefer them to work on much more noticeable items like the new german faction G36 :D
