Deployed full auto firing animation

When PKM is being fired on full auto, sight moves up and down very rapidly. This animation happens every time with every gun when player fires shot then stop firing,(could be single or multiple with full auto mode) maybe to simulate pulling down the gun after recoil kicks barrel up. In case of PKM animation, this repeats every shot. This does not happen with other Machine guns.

Okay well if I understand you correctly then all that's happening is... recoil, and well the PKM is pretty hard to control the recoil even with a bi-pod or handle due to it's heavy 7.62 cal.

P.S. Insurgents usually only have minor yogo training for fighting :razz:

Been using deployable HMG's a lot lately and noticed a good 5 sec deviation from the time you go prone on the ground and deploy weapon, to start of firing the weapon. In other words, wait a good 5 secs to start firing the weapon after you get yourself situated and go prone. It also seems the deviation resets after you've gone prone then to stand or crouch. It also helps when firing these weapons to fire in bursts of 3 or 5 rounds per burst. This will drastically help your recoil problem and help to be more accurate. You jus can't fire full on auto with this kind of weapon cause it will throw the barrel all over the place due to recoil. This happens in real life as well.

i dont think he is talking about the recoil, i think he means the animation for the recoal.

how i understand it is that he has used, for example, the us ar kit, and he went prone, put up the bypod, and shoot full auto.
the gun itself will rise a little as whene you shoot the barrel rises, then you relise the trigger and it settels back into place.

i think he is saying that while he is holding the trigger(mouse buttoin) that the pkm on full auto animation looks like it is being fired on single shot....

but i havent used the pkm yet so i dont know if this is true=P

Ya the gun is accurate on deployed mode but the sights look like they are rapidly moving up and down. Wish there was some kind of vibrate animation instead of the up and down motion which is pretty unrealistic while being in deployed mode.
