Training

Post by Anethma »

I know this is stolen from America's Army, but it was a very good feature that gave experienced players the weapons they were good at.
Add a weapon's training mode to the game, so that you need to complete certain stages of training, because of the limited ammounts of a certain kit a team can have, usually the more powerful kits are always taken.
I've noticed that most of the time, the kits that can bring victory in the hands of a skilled player, are in the hands of someone new to the mod.
This can cause alot of stress to the team/squad.
A training mode that prevents new players from using certain kits would allow experienced players to use each kit to its full potential.

I don't know much about coding, so this may take a while or no time at all, but please concider this, i'm tired of having someone on their first day waste a sniper kit or Anti-tank, because they dont know how to use it.

Erghm....I don't know where to start.
A. STOLEN is a powerful word
B. The Stages and awards are hardcoded and its a re-suggestion
C. Training mode has NO VICTORY whatsoever. If you watch the ticket count as the round goes on. You'll see.
D. Also in Training. The kits don't run out. A newbie could get a HAT. And your other clanmates can still take another 5.
E. If you code it so that no one except experianced players. There won't be anymore experianced players because some will leave and no one will be able to take their place and use the knowledge that they have.

This has been suggested multiple times before and is hard-coded. However, the PR training mode allows you to get to grips with the game as well.

Locking for re-suggestion.
