AI controlled Defence

Is is possible to have AI controlled gun emplacments in bases to not only stop spawncamping but to make the bases a bit more realistic with people actually guarding them. When i first played BF2 i thought the phalanx was Automatically controlled and i thought it was a great idea.
It would be good if you could use the AI controlled emplacments if you wanted to, simular to taking control of vehicles in single player.
I think this is possible or at least will be as they are implementing co-op mode with AI.

I like the idea. It could get rid of base rape on aircraft cariers for ever.

Not sure how it would be possilbe to impelente but yes it's a good idea. On another note take a look at the Hard Justice mod from WCC the eurotiger on there you can fire the directed missle whatever the copilots one is across the whole of gulf of oman from the aircraft carrier to the opposing sides airfield can you imagine that on vbf2.

I like Hard Justice though, I rarely get out of the spawn area when playing SP! :lol:

LOL!, if one of our forum members suggests to use somthing from your mod do you take it that we have "spys" looking on your mod site at what you guys are doing?

trog up there is not a dev, pub or con of this mod. hes just a forum member whos suggesting somthing for us.

EDIT: also whats your mod site / mod? never heard of WCC...

Umm I'm trying to be friendly...Never mentioned anything about spying..Our website is...http://www.wccsquad.com/Our mod is basically a coop mod. You've never heard of WCC Codename Coop or Hard Justice?

I take it you guys know alot about BF2's AI then. Would you know how to redo the AI and tweak? Ive never really looked into AI.......
