Wait... Did you offered him to make it for him? Or did you ask him to do for you?

We have wayyyyy too many of these BluFor factions popping up.

Work on some Non-Nato or Non-European armies for once. PLEASE!

I understand that people like having their home country or advanced weaponry in a team, but playing a poorer or more "bad guy" nation can be just as fun.

What happened to Rezza? I know you guys had some stuff going on well, is he still active on the forums?

I wouldn't mind seeing Turkey, they're not exactly the usual type of Bluefor, they're much closer to Opfor countries than other NATO members. If a MEC ever existed, Turkey would be threathened as much as Israel.

Also, Turkey could have Kurd insurgency maps, the PKK in the east (from what I know) is active and kind of radical.

I guess that's true. But we have to stop adding newer ones. Especially more European ones (Sorry Guys :D ).

Form what I saw we couldnt get enough people working on the mod, we really only had a map for the mod no models or anything. hence why its closed, we always could attempt it again but we will need the communitys help.

is will not happen since there are enough people who wanna help make it happend. so i guess a mod close this thread and if rezza or somebody other is up with a team to mod it than reopen it or make a new thread but this is just useless!

EDIT: i was one of the first guys who wanted to help rezza. so i do not want to clam anything, my comment above is just the way i think this should be handled.

Why would you close the thread? If anybody is willing to contribute in the future he'll have to make a new one while there's already this one?
Seriously guys, would you calm down a bit, or are you guys angry at the turks for some reason?

As for the fictionnal conflict, not gonna happen : Turkey vs IDF is just as ridiculous as GB vs US

Why make them? From what I see they're basically MEC, and in the snow picture, those aren't M249's, those are PKM's.
What's the point of making a faction if you don't get any new toys to play with? ;D

Turkish IS NOT Arab.
Turkey is very very very very different from Arabs in Culture, Language, Government, and even genetic /ancetral history. And they have been different for centuries.

USA, Great Britain and Australia are basically just "exported englishmen" and yet no one questions their usability as a faction.

Uh .. No they aren't MEC. They're effing far from being MEC because they're actually NATO-friendly.

Aside from their flags (both have a cresent moon .. ), and the G3, they aren't the same at all.

Check that out, it's wiki, but it's enough IMO.

Modern equipment and uniform of the Turkish Army - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I heard about a new MBT the Turks are making, it comes under the project name MİTÜP Altay and around 1000 are supposed to be produced in the coming next years. I guess they'll be added to, or will replace their current 339 Leopard 2A4 and their immense numbers of obsolete M60A3 (2275, including 600 M60A1 and 170 M60T Sabra Mk.III) and M48A3T2 (more than 1200).

Here are some pics of the scaled model :

As for possible maps, I can already see the TA fighting PKK (Kurdish insurgents) in South Eastern Turkey. Would be nice, hehe ;)

I meant equipment-wise.
Basically all of the things listed are things we already have in the game.

Culturally would just be too much, since even within countries people are different, there are alot of Americans and Brits and Swedes and Turkish people who probably aren't NATO friendly, you really have to go by equipment and battlefields.
