Find it on Ghost Train & Barracuda maps.

It is just a limitation of the BF2 engine.

Yup, PR pushes bf2 (an already bug-filled game) to it's limits and things like this happen. You'll also notice morphing of the terrain.

This happens to me occasionally.

What graphics card do you use? Aparently, this only happens with cards at 8800 and up.

This is a result of altering one of the overgrowth settings in our maps (something we as the developers do). One of the tweaks we can make is increase the distance before the overgrowth switches to its lod. The drawback is you get this minor undergrowth error. Overall it looks better with the overgrowth tweaked and having to put up with this minor issue. So, there you go :p
