Well it is pretty realistic, but not with common sense. I could pop out of a hatch and shoot you if i wanted to, but thats just risking my life and an apc.

This is pointless.

His odds of getting shot were just the same as yours. It was his choice to leave the APC, if you had shot him he would just have been stupid; since the thing worked the other way around, you say it's not realistic.

Also, consider that this APC has 3 slots; gunner, driver +1. Maybe he was on the "+1" slot, and they were taking him to rescue another vehicle or whatever the hell else.

How is this thread still going?

OP is a bawwing moron. There are no balance or realism problems with APC drivers having PDWs that if they are a good player they can use to defend their APC in close quarters against better armed riflemen.

This thread should be locked and forgotten.

Please don't flame, I disagree with the OP but I can understand the frustration. I agree on the lock, however, this is getting nowhere.

Did I say APC drivers having PDW is unrealistic/not fair? You, sir, are the moron here. I suggest you read WHAT I SAID EARLIER!

It's called "The Beast", a 1981 movie about the Soviet war in Afghanistan.

Offtopic, it's not a T-62 I think I read somewhere that it was a modified T-55 with a 105mm turret.. by the way..

This thread is just funny.

Me and Octo-Crab were trying to take out a Russian APC being single seated by an absolute n00b but we didn't exactly have the right tools for the job. We chucked a thermite grenade under it, hoping that it would spook the guy and to our astonishment, he jumped out to see what was going on. He may have thought he was on fire..?...>>/?

So we lit him up, stranding the perfectly food APC with nobody using it.

Thread locked, warnings handed out.
