Why arent the prmm players using mic/voip..?
Its quite strange, most of the time when I play pr about 80%+ of the players incl the sqd leaders and commanders dont use voip and it really destroy the teamplay..
The new gamemodes like xtraction for x really depends on teamplay and voip to work.
There are cheap mic's out there so thats no excuse btw..

Sometimes i miss... Inividual waypoints.. - for each player in my squad..
Actually i miss - the ability to split up my squad in 2 internal groups..
group1
group2
If you are to lead a squad fast, and effective, It would be great to have my squad split up..in 2 groups - In that way - i could order group 1 to move forward - while group 2 covered the area... And when group 1 reach it's destination 15 meter ahead - Then i would order group 2 to advance - while group 1 covered...and looked for enemies..
In that way i would be able to setup a real ambush...on a roads - in Extraction
Many times while playing - i really could need a new system for the SL. the ability to split my squad up in 2 groups..
This is done in other games - aswell.. I think it was in rainbow six (something)
It would really ease the job of setting up an ambush in no time.
Even with mic. it's tricky to remember all the squad members names - Especially if they have those clan names.. Ziip TC - and what have you.
SL : "hey ziip go over to that corner.."
Who is Ziip? it's a clan..
So i go look for mr.Zipp's name on the screen - besides he keeps moving around cause i havent given him any orders yet.
Waste of valuable time...
Car drives by.. Game over.

I think the problem is it is messed up or something. I hear a lot of people saying they can't hear me and I can't hear them. It is around 50% it seems, so there is something seriously wrong with either the VOIP, the game, or the server and I play on GloryHoundz.

Nah it does, I play there often with my friend. A lot of the time though, it's a volume problem. Maybe you have it on voice-activation and you muted it or somethin.
Plus some people are just shy/feel weird, or have company around and don't feel like bein total geeks. I mean I usually just work with my squad(I usually play SL in pubs if I'm with a friend) and don't really care much for the commander except for arty and supplies. Most of the time I don't listen to the commander's orders unless I've noticed they've been getting people to work together or unless the commander seems to be competant(as in has two squads working with includin mine.)

i always have headset on and use voip as often i can.. tho i feel like it sometimes should work diffrent.. atm you can only talk to your squad..
would be nice if you could jump into a chopper or a tank/jeep with diffrent squad members and then be hooked up with em over voip as long as your in the same vehicle..

So if I understand you right you think voip is a waste of time since you cant remember your teammates names..?Thomazz wrote:Sometimes i miss... Inividual waypoints.. - for each player in my squad..

Try looking at your monitor... The teammates names are located over their heads..
And if you have problem remembering who your sqdmates are just look for those with green names..
One of the worst things with ppl that doesnt use voip is that they allways radiospam..
About you not understanding others nick due to clantag.
Its easy, my clantag and nick for example ---> =BF30=Pollux123
What part do you think is the clantag and what part do you think is my nick..?
