As you all know, when you build a firebase you need two supply crates. As soon as you have that you can place the Firebase, and team mates start building it. Once it has been built, you can still place AAs / 50.cals / Wires / Foxholes, with the same supply crates, and request kits from them.

Here is my suggestion

Make two kinds of supplie crates. One is building supplies, and the other weapon supplies. It requires 2 building supplie crates to build a firebase. Once that is done they dissapear. If you then want to build an AA, wire and foxholes it requires 1 building supply crate. The same goes for HMGs. If you dont understand a word let me explain it abit better

1 building supply crate = 1x HMG or 1x AA. Once they are built the supplies can only be used to build wire and foxholes.

So if you get another logistics truck and place 2 building supplies you can have 2 AAs / 2 HMGs and that is the max.

The weapon crates would give you permission to request kits and resupply ammunition.

Interesting, but I think it overcomplicates the system, as well as requiring modifications of alot of vehicles.

requiring 4 Crates to set up the associated FB assets and only 2 for the actual FB could make the system more important, but I don't think it would change it much.

you could also just do so that they dont dissapere but use building supplies and weapons supplies instead

All the supply vehicles would need an overhaul, and helicopters would need to make more trips. You'll also see a lot more empty firebases.
