Night Vision and British Military

I downloaded the client download in the files section in the website, and I heard that there was a British team, but all the maps are either US vs CH or US vs MEC

And on the night time maps, there is no nightvision thing in the weapons selection scrollbar thing

I like the lack of a target reticle which makes me live longer, and there were supposed to be new weapons, the only new weapons are the US sniper rifle and the pistol with the stupid grenade launcher on it

And wtf is with that grenade launcher or wtf ever that thing on the bottom of the pistol?!

I like the littlebird helo and stuff, but the Sniper rifle, the littlebird, no reticle, and the maps are the only thing that has some "wow" factor for this mod, and that is not alot!

[edit] and I know it is in the .03 patchy thingy, but it is an unknown file type on my computer, are there any mirrors that are .zip or winrar?

It's not a grenade launcher, it's a flashlight.

The British military will be out in the full release of PR, right now we are still in the "mini-mod" stages.

You don't select nightvision from the weapons menu, you hit "7" to turn it on.

Try to learn WTF you are talking about before you come in and critisize.

You can't. The bf2 engine gets really buggy when we tried.

Then why is it there? but I now think the game is cool, after playing with other people, I totally owned 2 or three people! and I like the mod, I hope it gets to a full release!

Because it initially had a function that was disabled, but the team didn't have the time to change the model?
Or maybe just because it looks good?

Oh dear god... How could you have owned 2 or 3 people when you can't see the names of the people you killed?

The mod is cool because of what it offers to the game... if all you care about is "owning" people, go back to vanilla. PR is a team game.

That is true. Too bad there aren't many english speakers where i hail from. And, the fact that everyone wants the littlebird, only 3 people I know in the server I play in can fly it, and no one wants to pick others up.

jeez what server are you playing on? i see people who dedicate themselves to a little bird and spend the whole round just inserting and extracting people.

Yup i have to say i have started doing that, its quite fun to be honest
