That looks sweet, just like a drop trooper from Halo :p

Good to see the Dutch getting better helmets, now all we have to hope for is a couple of loads falling off a truck somewhere near the border.

I think that it's meant to, to not look too threatening to the local population (compared to US troops for example)

How well would communications equipment fit in that helmet?

I'm assuming the one without ear protection is intended for use with comms headsets. I guess I'm the only one that thinks this looks like garbage, and will be surprised to see it actually fielded.

This looks pretty threatening to me! But i like the design, this is the future! If that third picture includes a gasmask then I'm convinced! This also means that I will wear this during my active duty at the Dutch Forces!!! :-D

They should make a uniform/combat suit that fits with this helmet though! *Thinks of Crysis*

I already saw it before in real life, its bud ugly but seems to work. without the ear covers we can use the PR-headsets. when the full masked is aded it serves as a gasmask.

Hope I im still serving when it wil be introduced.

That helmet just screams "we're gonna beat you and there's nothin you can do about it" :O

I imagine the 3rd one will have alot of trouble in humid or hot environments? it'll get very sticky in there if moisture can't escape the helmet easily.

It looks badass, hope it increases survivability.

And tbh, I'm not too worried about "looking too threatening" or whatever, if I was some tribesman and these guys arrived I'd be thinking..."wow those talis are completely utterly screwed..."
