Bullet drop?

Hello,

I'm new to this mod but I'm loving it already. My main concern is the bullet drop...obviously there is some? The problem actually is not knowing how much. You can't fire a "ranger shot" at least with the M40 as it cuts to the reloading animation after each shot..and it pretty hard to see where the bullets land with other rifles as well (distances being 200 and 300ish meters) Obviously the horizontal stadia lines are just for looks.

So, how can I determine proper point of aim at certain distance???

First off, if you hold down the left mouse click when you fire, you wont go to the reloading animation and you can see where you hit.

Second is the random bullet deviation that the BF2 engine is plagued with, which means your bullets wont always hit the exact same spot everytime.

And third, I noticed that the bullet drop is quite minimal. Anything under 100 yards, you should be hitting with your crosshair right on top the guys face, 200-300 you need your cross hair a little higher, like put your crosshair above of the guys head. This is all I've noticed so far, I just realized the bullet drop last game, so I hope this helps you.
