EJECT EJECT !!!

I just wanted to make a quick little suggestion here. I have seen allot of clips where pilots do in time to parachute out of there planes, even when hit by a missile.

DEVs if u are even looking at this could you think about giving pilots 1 or 2 secounds to eject when hit by a missile?

Well there already is sometimes, it just depends on how bad you get damaged, Bf2 is tricky with this so a flaming jet falling from the sky with all the time in the world to get out is not gonna happen, and its already been suggsested, Check the AAS thread and remember to use the forum search function to search the suggestion forums.

There often is time to eject if you've been hit, and have lost motors/start flaming/smoking. But don't count on it if you're already damaged.

I thinkk he was talking about the time allowed to hop out after being hit, rather than actual ejectors though. All the same, there often is the time to eject, depending if you've flared, or w/e.

I think this may be solved in a way similar to the helo suggestion where the actual health of a jet is increased and the critical health is replaced with the old actual health value.

That only accounts for when the helo hits the ground. If a burning jet hits the ground and your in it, your definately dead.

And I'm guessing the damage system with BF2 is not that simple... It's good suggestion for 'any' vehicle to give more time people to get out, instead of insta-destruction.
well this suggestion isnt about a seat ejector its just the time u get when hit by a Ground to Air Missile or an Air to Air missile

Just eject as soon as you get a lock tone and you should be fine... sorry.
