[?] Adding Spawnable Kits for All Factions

I need every kit to able to be spawned from the 'object spawner' in Bf2 editor.

Because im making a training map for PR

The plan is that there are two sides fighting in the training BLUFOR (US Army) and OPPFOR (US Marines) who are "training" together.
BLUFOR will have all the allied vehicles and kits to their diposal. (US Army, USMC, Britsh Army, Russia etc.)
OPPFOR will be using the enemys vehicles and kits. (PLA, Insurgents, Rebels and MEC.

I will be building an armoury on this map and will need every kit to be in the editor list as a "Pickup Kit". Could this be added to the next version of PR and for the time being, could you Devs post me the files, so the all kits sho up as pickup As soon as ya can.

look at the .con and .tweaks of existing pickup kits then you can simply make your own and add them as part of your map.

but if i do this will other people be able to play my map without edited files?

no you can add objects to your map much like how custom billboards etc are added to maps, or much like how I added my cardboard cutouts of the Chinook, Fastropes and the music to the map.

You can open .con and .tweaks with any text editor such as notepad, search over the editor forums for info on editing them but its not that hard, just clone the current pickup kits, rename them and make your own.

Its a lot of work so its not something we will be doing unless we need it for part of the mod, which we currently do not.

I dont think you can spawn a normal kit in as a pickup kit without any problems, thou might be wrong, worth a shot thou.

What do i write in the init. for "open up init.con, add a few more lines to it to load the rest of the kits. Save it."

They need to have a collision mesh for them to spawn. The vanilla kits don't, which is probably what you're thinking of. I think all the PR kits do - certainly the requestable ones are, since they're spawned using object spawners.

As Jonny says, you should be able to spawn them just like any vehicle.

I've already done all of that stuff to the init. But none of my regular PR maps are showing even if i switch between ***, Insurgency, Counter Attack etc.
Maybe its because i havent rendered the lightmaps for my map?
