yes Mi-26 is on the bigger side,Tannhauser wrote:Mi-26 owns your little prissy chinook.
But it's so big ... It would require a map twice the size of Kashan. So no, big no.

but to be honest that's not what I had in mind.
This is more like it:

‘Alligators’ to take the sky by storm
permalinke-mail story to a friendprint version

Russia has launched mass production of the Ka-52 strike helicopter nicknamed ‘the Alligator’. Based on the Ka-50 ‘Black Shark", the new version is designed as a commander’s vehicle and has several features for combat coordination.
‘Alligators’ to take the sky by storm | Top Stories from 2008-10-30 | RT
I know we had a thread or 2 (or more) about Ka-50 and Oleg has actually made one. Some arguments (for not using it) were:
there are only a few of these in service and all in the "special forces" (spetznaz)
So what changed?
Well,Ka-52 is the 2 seat version of Ka-50,much more "conventional" (exclude the side by side seats) and is going to mass production.
Mass production of course does not mean thousands or even hundreds, like it was
back in USSR days.
Anyway don't mean to go OT here, just in case a question like this:
"What do we give the big Russian bear in terms of attack helicopters?"
comes up.

Flipping past helicopter pictures I noticed this nice specimen.
I would say that the Mi-26 is slightly too large

Unless of course you put another 8 seat vehicle inside the first 8 seat vehicle, cause then you get 16!
Rofl, you could carry the other team in it aswell, and 27 people from another server. XD

Hopefully it will have 2 crates that can be dropped, to make up for the lack of player space (Or can drop 2 crates and a landy?!)

I would think so. If you dont include a collision it shouldnt be a problem but I guess it wont work like that.

Honestly I'm badly waiting for Chinook[R-DEV]Rhino wrote: Again, think of the Chinook as a flying truck, where its biggest role is logistics as well as transport. that has the proportional of setting up a firebase on a LZ that will spawn off many more players than just 8.
I can't think how that can be fun and can change the dynamics of the game
