As for real, the driver are using a periscope, just like the APC's which only got about 70 degrees viewpoint. Now, the driver can look 360 degrees, which is quite unrealistic. The view should be lower for the driver.

Secondly, the 50cal gunner on a tank doesn't do much. Real tanks have their "Tank commander" (maybe wrong translation, vagnchef in Swedish), which role is to plan the route, keeping communication and helping driver of spotting. If we could let the second gunner be this person, we could get him more of a SL capability and maybe having the possibility to speak to commander (often, there are more than 1 tank in a squad. BTW, know VOIP is hard coded, does this include that category?).

Also, we could remove the map for driver and gunner and only having it for the Tank Commander (as IRL). This would make need for 3 persons in a tank + it would add more teamwork. The tank commander gives permission to fire and so on (like a mini commander/SL). Would be good if you somehow could also give him binocular. I don't think this role would be boring, since theres actually a lot to do. When you add the suggestion above also, this extends the role, making him the one to guide if there's ok to go reverse etc.

Yes, its a little confusing text (i think at least). But i hope that you're able to understand anyway.

EDIT: I would say this for not just only tanks, but every armored vehichle (don't know about the insurgency or russian versions, but all the NATO do have tank commanders)

Tank commander. You can see the 50 cal hatch. Would be great if there would be a seat like this (becouse this periscope can look 360 degrees).

Like said, it has been suggested many times.

The problem is the 32 player limit per team; it would take to much manpower to operate all the armor on maps like Kashan with three-man tanks.
