new maps

Ive been reading about some of the cities of iraq and i found 2 great candidates to make new maps out off, Mosul and Najaf ,najaf seems like a good chioce coz it is very religious and where there is religion there is fanaticism and the rest u know, Mosul is very close mainly becase is one of the bigest cities, maybe when I go back to the states I can learn how to make maps and Ill give it a try but if not then the two ideas are up for grabs

i wish we had a madhi army faction because that would be awesome for a najaf map. however, if you really want to see this happens its probably a good idea to try to make it yourself because I think most of the people that are good at making maps for PR are busy with projects at the moment.

I think right now mappers have there hands full with endless ideas for maps, its a nice suggestion but probably won't get far, but like you said if you do get into making maps and do it they will most likely accept your work if its on par with the mod.

+1 on the DIY idea. If you want to see something in PR, you should really give it a swing. Heck, you might actually be good at it!

What more would you want for the Mahdi Army than just simple reskins?

You could go ahead and try mapping yourself.

Just get BF2 Editor and read the tutorials. Most of the mappers already have something to do, but go ahead and give it a shot.
