not sure.. but it would be damed stupid not to be strapped in if you're sitting on the outside of a helicopter.. that's MOST likely what keeps people from falling off..Solitas wrote:If their anything like the BH's guns I'll be happy, from little knowledge I have the AH-6 is used in a minor offensive roles sometimes anyway.
Besides that does it bother anyone else that whenever the pilot twirls or turns sharply none of the soldiers sitting on the side DON'T fall off?
Mini gun for little bird!

How does that explain it when a pilot is near the ground, when safety straps would have been disengaged, pulls a violent maneouver - this would throw the soldier flying wouldn't it?5m0oth_0p3r4t0r wrote:not sure.. but it would be damed stupid not to be strapped in if you're sitting on the outside of a helicopter.. that's MOST likely what keeps people from falling off..

Why not? If the marines have it in real life, why not in PROJECT REALITY...sheeshTop _Cat the great wrote:Yuo can not have a littlebird that can both carry passengers and have mini guns! SO really the present mini bird is all transport and i like it that way.
It is more of a flying humvee, not a troop carrier due to ability to only carry 6 (can never be cahnged to 7, unlike Black hawk).
My PR ingame name is Pvt.Nouri.

lol,
Armand61685 -you might be right, it is jsut i have never seen a troop carrying littlebird with miniguns. It is just a mistake on my part.
Ijsut thought they where always kept seperate, miniguns and troop transporting.
O well, personally i am happy with 2 different types, not some verison imbetween.

Your the one who is right, the Littlebird comes with either seating benches or miniguns and rockets.Top _Cat the great wrote:lol,

personally, I would sooo like to see the “upwardly mobile” forces taken down a notch.. I mean armament wise.. attack helis and planes are a pain in “we all know where” when you’re on foot.. I’d much rather see more transport/supply duties being carried out from the air and less “Gunshipping” ..
ok, the “gunshipping” is realistic, but it would be more fun if helicopters were to move troops and equipment around more and destroy less..
might not be the most popular opinion, but that just goes to show it’s MY opinion..

I think you will find there will be less whoring from the air, less plane campers, and more teamwork if this was done. Personally, I also enjoy transporting/scouting more than attacking with a gunship.5m0oth_0p3r4t0r wrote:personally, I would sooo like to see the “upwardly mobile” forces taken down a notch.. Don't put a minigun on it, you will get noobs flying it just for points.
