I have always loved the PR helicopters because of the realism and just pure awesomeness.
But i want them to make the helicopter gunner screen more accurate. To help with the immersion.
here is some videos to show you how it could look like: LiveLeak.com - Apache Destroying Two Terrorist Bunkers - Afghanistan [kinda bad quality]
LiveLeak.com - Apache Takes Out Insurgent With A hellfire Missile In Iraq "Insurgent Body Flying 20ft Away" [good quality]
LiveLeak.com - Apaches Engage Insurgent Rocket Team With 3 Hellfire Missiles In Iraq [decent]
Just a suggestion to be honest.
EDIT: nevermind just saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3Ly0BYYar4
Some videos of Apache footage that the PR team can use as a refrence.

There is only so much that can be done with huds.

That is actually not how the actual HUD looks like. That is the mission recording that is made after every mission in case the mission needs to be examined for any reason, such as friendly-fire reports.
It is a crude recording, it isn't how it actually looks like to the gunner in the Apache. I'll get a proper video in a minute.
Edit: Look at around 2:50 in this mil-porn film.

There is a better one on YouTube, I am trying to find it.

Well even then, the last video posted is the Pilots MFD, which is probably the most accurate your really going to get unless you are also an Apache gunner who looks at these things.
"Today's forecast calls for 30mm HE rain with a slight chance of hellfires"
"oh, they're fire and forget all right...they're fired then they forget where the target is"

Isn't Sparatan117 an Apache pilot? He would probably have the best say, if that's the case.

Ok, but he should at least know something about the MFDs then, right? I think the Apache's is quite good. I just wish FLIRs actually worked with infrared, but that's another story

Lol thats why I put DTV (day TV iirc) instead of FLIR on the Apache gun camera, saves some naming hassle, since they have both modes irl.
