Hight Tec versos Hardcore - No, HardcoDed
I see on the forum many sugetions talking about real equipiment, that real exist,
but in fact they are banned because it is hardcore.
one of this clasic exemples is the Fast ropes for trasport helicopteres, in fact this exist, and it is also hardcore in my opnion because it will make trasport so faster that any other unit will evem get faster that it.
Another one is Camera Helmets, so the Commander can see it. it is also hardcored but it is just Hight Tec.
What is the new battlefield Weopows? and what is hardcore?
is the Artilhary on BF2 overpowerd? or just the wars are going to be Cowards that ever it be?
Why eject ability is hardcore? when this existe?
I leave it to the Players and Dev to check about

For exemple,
the use of Artilhary is on Constant use.
in any war. you see bombs coming, and they keep coming.
evem in WWII a cannon of artilhary take up 1 min to reload.
so, why the artilhary take up 30 min to realod?
ummm because a artilhary fire keeping coming will not be fun.
and also hardcored.
but what is war? Child fun?

This is not a real sugestion.
this is something that people must take account.
Many good sugestions are based in Real Equipment.
That is Overpored, and people and Dev will not put this at all because it is hardcore.
but this turn project reality in a game of UnHardcore and not Total Reality.
so long many of the Hight Tec Equipiment are baned because it's VERY HIGHT POWER of destrution

Re: Hight Tec versos Hardcore
Oh lawdy. This thread made me laugh soooooo hard.
"Hardcore" and "Hardcoded" are two very, very different adjectives.
"Hardcore" is like busting into a huge military complex alone with only a revolver and a knife, killing all 30 people after taking 10 gunshots and knife stabs.
"Hardcoded" is used to describe something that is impossible to code. Fastropes are turned down because we cannot possibly code them into the BF2 game engine. People have tried and tried, but they cannot. Fastropes are hardcoded, fastropes are impossible.
We also turn down high-tech (stands for high technology, or advanced technology) weapons because they are not common, they are not standard issue for armies, or because they do not fit into the type of game that the PR devs want to create.
The word "Hardcoded" stems from "Hard" and "Code." In this case, "code" is the text that is hidden behind every script and game engine, written in Python, C++, C#, Java, etc.
(I'm not trying to be cynical, I think the problem here is a language barrier. It is very hard to learn new languages, especially English.)

i talking about Hardcore, that is like to destroe the game.
things that will make the game very very violent, or evem killing and killing
so harder that you spawn and die, like BF2.

i think hes responding to all of the threads which call for a more TAC Sim approach or 'Hardcore', where arty is available evey minute or two.
Basically hes explaining that the game cant be 'hardcore' else it wont be fun (like his arty example) and that people should think of it as a military game not a complete sim

fastropes and cameras from helmets are HARDCODED, that means it cant be put in game due to engine limitations, you are confusing terms.
hardcore means other thing

Hard coding - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
have a little read.
The reason fast ropes are not in PR, is because it is simply not possible to code them due to the fact we can not change the engine code. Even DICE who could change the engine code attempted to make fast ropes for vBF2 in its early stages, but gave up since they couldn't get it to work at all well...
