Know your loading screens!

Post by RikiRude »

I don't know how many people actually take a look at these, but I figure I would let you guys know what each map means and what things on it represent. Click on images for larger picture.

AAS
ach circle is a flag and the points are connected in the order that they are to be captured in.

Image
Single Objective
Circles with X's in them represent an object that must be destroyed (either UAV or radar) the arrows don't really mean anything, but they look cool yes? You don't even have to blow them up in any order.

Image
Extraction
Capture point is where you start, extraction is where you must go. The circle is trying to represent the "staging area" I like to call it, which is the area that the MEC/PLA are unable to enter and if they do so, will get a "leaving area" message and take damage.

Image
Night Maps
Same as above, but with a green-ish filter, meaning the map is at night, press 7 for your night vision!

I hope this helps you guys, I'm not sure if my loading screens were any confusion before, but I'm sure this will help new players.

Ye it is important to look at the screen when loading in - it stops a lot of "What game mode is this" waste of time at the start of maps!

We really need to collate this in a "help for new players sub-forum". As this would have them all in one area rather than new players having to search for them.
