Crouching

Post by EdrrakNolat »

Does anyone have any tips of getting crouching to toggle, instead of having to hold it down? hard to move, revive/fire, AND hold the crouch button. Or at least its a quick path to carpal tunel. (plus I'm not that bright)

Oh, and I know its been said, but this Mod is fantastic. I haven't even considered playing vanilla BF2 since someone showed me this. Keep up the great work!

I don't like having crouching toggled for me makes it to hard to get up and run away from the derka derka's.

I used to prefer that as well, until i went from a garbage Ms ergonomic keyboard and switched to something with steel brackets that provide correct tactile feedback/response. THe only thing is now my pinky is getting killled having to hold crouch all the time.

I also tried Bf2 enhance and it did not work for me.

i use c for my crouch button, my pinkey cant take the strain :p

only bad thing about useing c for crouch is that you loose the "d" key :(

but ive played many games before BF2 where it used c for crouch and tryed to change, but cant :p

f to sprint? thats diffrent? I could try changine shift for crouch and then f for sprint, then i wouldnt loose my d key hummm.

main trobal i have is that it a bit of a strech for my pinkey to reach ctrl and it dosent feel comftibal.

bf2 enhance DOES work, it will enable you to hold the mouse button down for ironsights as well as crouch toggle. I tried it, but I have become used to the way BF2 works so it confused me, as well as interfering with selection of items on the commo rose.
