Ya but unfortunately that's why there won't be any snow maps unless someone wants to reskin all the kits and vehicles plus adding snow textures and sounds.

Here is a few things I've fantasized since I started the world of tanking.

1. Medina Ridge: an EPIC tank battle between USA and MEC with 16tanks per side
Battle of Medina Ridge - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This map could be 4x4km and would have

It took place west of Phase Line Kiwi, east of Phase Line Smash, and north of Phase Line Grape

So, it could have 2 capable flags and 2 capable main bases with mec starting on the east of the map

Usa main base name: Phase Line Smash, cap 1 (center of map) Medina Ridge, Cap 2 (South of Medina Ridge) Phase Line Grape, Mec main base name: Phase Line Kiwi

it could also be accommodated to have like 10 tanks per team, 4 APC, a tow humvee or two

2. East Berlin (not sure if possible but :) USA vs RUS tanks, helos, trucks etc you know the drill but its fight over berlin

(yes it sounds like world in conflict ;-) )

Large-scale combined armes-combat with conventional forces. Like Kashan or Qinling. Russia vs. US/UK (or the Bundeswehr, would be even better).

EA had a good idea with MEC invading continental USA,I evn have the damn thing just haven't played it since early 2007.Met a sexy lady called PR.
Maps are hard to make - good maps even harder.Good maps that stay popular
well can count these on 1 hand.Operation Phoenix was pretty good for urban combat.
Duckhunt makes great maps -as long as Rhino fixes it before release
Best thing to do imo is to make 1 large map with different layers.
That way we can have the air+armor and urban combat (different layer -maybe a city centre in the middle
like Ejod or Basrah but bigger)

More big balanced combined arms warfare maps + some "iron gator" style carrier and CQB maps.

I secound conventional warfare. Insurgency just has that complete lack of any tactics feeling.

A larger Jabal Al Burj type map with rolling mountains and some open fields broken up by waist height walls and random small buildings, quite vehicle heavy, but a decent built up area, with narrow streets for restricting vehicle movement, and lots of cover for infantry...

MEC having an airfield;
2x Fighter/Bombers
2 x Tank
2 x IFV (BMP type)
2 x APC (BTR type)
2 x Missile AA Vehicle
Assorted Light Vehicles

USA based on a carrier with full complement of Choppers;
2 x AH1 Cobra
1 x AH6 Littlebird
1 x Huey Gunship (FFAR) (= 1 x CAS Squad of 6)
2 x MH6 Littlebird,
2 x UH-1 Huey
2 x LAV 25 / AAVP7A1
Assorted Light Vehicles
God is Airborne only because he failed the commando course.

I, too, would like bigger maps. Maybe a few Armour based maps, but especially complete combined arms maps, imo. We have really only Kashan desert, since Quinling is in a sense a failed map atm (No offense Rhino :D ).
Right here. Need more maps with long range firefights. Like Operation Archer cept AAS.

Urban maps

Just another "HillMap" like Operation Archer, including the East/West City Center from Muttrah, with 2 Gunship Hueys, 3 Transport Hueys, certainly a carrier and some Insurgents as enemy.

Forest maps

Wide open woodland areas, including again a CQB a la Muttrah/Karbala and just some MH-6.

urban maps with a lot of elevations. like a city in a slope or something, but with tall buildings close together so we don't have any snipers at the top to see everything.

Image

like this in the city center (inf only)

and roads like this around the city center

I can't get enough CQC Insurgency. Al Basrah offers plenty of close combat, but also can cater to those seeking long range engagements over fields and deserts. You're kinda mad if you're going ironsight-ed AK over scoped L85, but rolling in a technical evens out the situation. :p

Karbala is pretty neat. Hopefully with more fine tuning in cache placement, we can see more long-term action on the vast Karbala. I noticed on that map, it's pretty fast to take out a cache. I'm the type that enjoys long term firefights.

By trying too hard, we put ourselves at a greater risk. Don’t you think so?

Jungle. Moar JUNGLE!

Preferably a jungle map that people like to play too. I almost NEVER see Tad Sae on pubs. Was a blast in the PRT though.

A big jungle map would be epic as well. Force people to actually patrol. Maybe make some kind of impassable undergrowth that could make long term (like 10 to 15 mins) of ambushing a choke point worth while.

Then bring back claymores for that map alone. Claymores plus jungle equal epic ambush FTW.

I love jungle patrolling.

For those who have played POE2, something like Kiev/Orel.Those maps are the greatest maps i have ever played on any incarnation of BF2.
