I was wondering if anyone had came up with a net to throw over your tanks?! i mean its pretty scary being in an M1A2 and this gaint... scary BLACK bomb comes flying twords you.. And you think to your self.. OHH SHIT only if i had cover? i was thinking maybe if the tanks/Crewman kits had a net so you can throw over your tanks? Maybe? and it fits like every map er something? Lol idk i was just giving out ideas.. Also a new idea would be something like The F16 or any jet when its parked *no one inside* that the Hatch/door/window thing is open.. Ive seen this done on the FH2 mod - forgotten hope 2 - and it does cause lag.. And if you keep it open only at the 10/20 speed than that keeps it from opening mid air too.. idk just an idea.. Also if you could do that.. manybe ejection seat? i would help out with this but i suck at modeling and really i can only think of the ideas.. Not make them but hey some ideas to throw around for .9 maybe? ALSO! i think it should take 1 RPG round to kill a stupid jeep not 3! hah 0_0

What would this add to gameplay?
Also try to make your suggestion better and use spaces.

Um a camo net will do nothing in BF2.

Re: NetMeshs?
Well with the LOD system bf2 uses this idea would only add a larger target at longer ranges which would just make you more visible. Idk if you have ever flown a jet in PR but its not that easy to just spot a tank while you are flying around at high speed and high alt, 90% of the time you get a bombed dropped on you someone with a laser is probably targeting you from ground level.
besides you shouldn't be sitting in one place long enough to be able to deploy a giant mesh net above your tank.

Re: NetMeshs?
Ive been playing PR From like .6, So ive flown alot... im just saying that if you have a large kinda flat desert map and your setting up a defence around a FOB or something witch i quite do offten for counter attacks than thats when yes you shouldnt be sitting around for jets like that but also you want to offer safty to those troops whom want to Get helo/APC transit also gives the - Newbies - Some what of an upper handnick20404 wrote:Well with the LOD system bf2 uses this idea would only add a larger target at longer ranges which would just make you more visible. Anyone else who reads this im just adding another idea.. Most M1A2s have dual 50cal. MGs mounted on the top... not 1.. lol just a modeling add on they might fix.. idk?

i think this may be something simmiler to the camo for solders thing where it dont register after 5 meters, i think we would run into that problem on this aswell....

No no you would be able to still see it past 5 meters.. it would be like an FOB mesh.. lol just you can throw it like the rope or something?bloodthirsty_viking wrote:i think this may be something simmiler to the camo for solders thing where it dont register after 5 meters, i think we would run into that problem on this aswell....
