[Help] Custom Map, not Showing Up on List, Other Maps Are Fine

Im having trouble loading my custom map up in PR. All the other maps show up just fine, its just my custom map that doesnt show up, i moved it propely to the PR levels folder.

I dont know whats wrong though because it just isnt showing up while all the others do.

Thanks, i got the map to show up and load but now im having problems spawning. The minimap looks all see through apart from 1/3rd of it which is partually covered in "default minimap" grey. I also cant spawn at anyof the spawns? Wtf is wrong with my map? thx

na its to do with a screwed up combat zone, its this odd bug that popped up in PR in the last few releases that makes it a real pain in the *** when testing...

go into your GPO.con file and disable the combat zone, there is a line near the bottom called "UseCombatZone" or something and its set to 1, change it to 0.

Unless your map is a 4km map, you dont need a combat zone for testing.

I changed the combat zones butnow it keeps crashing to desktop, where as last time with combat zones it loaded just fine.

What do u guys think about my suggestion to the Air vs. Air map thread, and how we could get a full sized Nimitz class carrier. ;p

I replied, and the Nimitz wouldn't be the carrier to make/buy/etc if you wanted a Air vs Air map, you would want to make the Admiral Kuznetsov class.

Well i didnt really work, becauase i changed the combat zone to 0 and now the map just crashes, with not error window, when i press JOIN/Squad Assaignment.

delete all the combat zone code under that line and that line then save and repack

yeah thanks rhino its working now. ill remember this for future maps. i do wish bf2 editor didnt crash so much though.
