lol, I have 5 gigs of tactics sitting on my comp. Let's put em all through Junior Brecon's teaching phase.
I don't think Brecon and OPTAG would be too chuffed to see their work here though.

Good work Mav, damn, I fear fighting the EJOD now...
Remember the S': Shape, Shadow, Shine, Silhouette, Sound (gaz, please edit, i cannot for the life of me remember the others)
The M: Movement.
Sound: don't use the Spotted chat and things like that, they will give away your position. running also makes a sound
Shape: Go Prone, Crouch, don't look like a human.
Shine: Not Important in PR.
Silhouette: Do not stand on a hill or against a building if you can avoid it, you WILL stand out against the Wall or Sky.
Shadow: Be aware that you character casts a shadow, Just be aware of where it is.
Movement: Go Prone, crouch, you will be a much smaller target and thus harder to hit. Go slow if the situation allows it.
Work in a minimum of twos, Cover and Advance
If in a squad SPREAD OUT, all too often have I seen a squad take one grenade and Its all over for six people.
Last but by no means least: Never assume the enemy does not know you are there, NEVER run and gun assuming it is safe, Assumption is the "Mother of all F**k ups"
Good Luck
We all NEED to bump this

USM
USM will take it from here guys
When spyder and I started our first team together back in Joint Operations for Novalogic, I began implementing a lot of the stuff I knew in real life as a US army soldier. I found that a lot of stuff could not be done because the games physics just wouldn't allow.
Now BF2 on the other hand is a different story. BF2 allows for much more fluid motion, and reality mod makes it even better. For three years now Spyder and I, along with members of the marines and army have been working with teamwork and training our recruits to use what we teach.
Usually we'd keep it all to ourselves and just kick some ***, but we're willing to teach the PRMM community squad tactics, team operations in other words, how and where to move your squads. We'll also teach how to cordinate air with ground troops. We'll teach you stuff like the spec ops guys, how to HALO from chopper accurately and how to set up afterward. Exiting from chopper, working through intersections, breeching corners, room takedowns AKA clearing.
I'll give you guys credit for attempting to implement the tactics in your video's and posts and such but USM is here to help. Let us, the pros, teach you guys how to do it. Spyder and I have it perfected to work in game. We used to have a consistant squad that knew all the stuff and we kicked some hardcore *** in just regular bf2 alone. We still have a few fully trained and ready to go squads, but for the most part its spyder and I who can work the magic. Before you get involved with what we're going to teach you must trust us. We have trained and trained on what we know and we've put it to use several times in game and owned 99.9 percent of the time, yeah thats right, I won't lie, we've had our asses handed to us a few, but not half as much as we would have. Go to http://www.usmsquad.com and post on the forums under PRMM tactics signups. Make sure to post on the second application dated May 16th 2006. Thanks again. -USM Staff

Indeed, these tips will come in handy for me on the Jungle Fever map, I'm always running around like a headless chicken until i get nailed by a support gunner'[R-PUB wrote:maverick']Well first off you play CS so sit down and buck up your ideas.
Second, I put effort int othis not to have an idiot just diss it.
Third, they are damn good suggestions for new players who don't want to die in 20 seconds.
