[Suggestion] Signal Pistoles for Nightmaps

How mutch work would it to implement them ? A handgun that shoots a capsule of magnesium in the air sailing down on a little paracute and creating a lightsource. This could use to enlighten fighting places and blinding night googles users for a short time. This would a cool toy to play with

sounds sweet...
tho... the bf2 engine doesnt really cope well with dynamic lights.

moreover it would create tons of lag... so only people with good specs would benefit from it.

It wouldn't have to be dynamic, really. It'd just fire a large light into the sky that wouldn't necessarily have to give off light itself, but it'd be vibrant and visible to other players. It'd be cool to get them from the RHIBs so when you get stuck at sea you can call for help. :)

Whoa, that idea is better than a flare - a torch fired into the air that flies down on a little parachute....

You usually dont even have to use your night vision on the night maps, especially if your hunting Marines.
