Dam that's allot more then 1 field pack ...... more then even the officer gets.

Oh and I think the time it take to apply a field pack is to fast you should also get 4 but all 4 should only heal you for 15% more hp so it takes longer then 2 Secs to patch your self up.

Yeah well thats what each and every Marine gets in real life.

For game purposed i would use the H-bandage and Quik Clot gauze. And maybe give the medic an actual modeled and textured IFAK instead of that medic bag. That would be pretty sweat. :p

Anyways ye, good stuff, think all in all from a modelling point of view, you would just model the Carrying Pouch, and a bandage, then the deploy animation would just be the guy getting out the pouch, opening it up and taking out the bandage, then the fire animation would be you throwing the bandage on the ground :)

But ye, a lot of work for little gain :p

Moved to suggestions. Because thats what it appears to be.

My opinion would be that the main job performed by the field dressing is the same as this medkit thing. It still has a mahossive bandage in it as the main component for a quick patch job on a squaddie with lead poisoning.

Much like the shockpads, the field bandage is a "metaphor" for all the kit that a trooper would have on him to patch himself up (or, more likley, have one of his mates patch him up with).

Too much work, not enough gain.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Iron, re-skin the Field Dressing to be an H-Bandage and your own suggestion is complete.

This was never a suggestion. It was a question to see if anyone would want to do it and early on in the topic i got my answer. Now its just a "ohh look at the cool medical ****".

You might as well move this to OT.

Are the "Do Not Eat" instructions really necessary?

Though I have heard it is made with some kind of vegetable product.

Its basically the same shit in the regular field dressings we have now but condensed. Its not worth it to put it ingame IMO cus then it would require news models for nothing new. I think though that on some USMC models ingame it is actually attached to the flak but I am not 100% positive on this.

If it isn't, that would be a nice addition to the flak if the USMC models are ever altered again along with drop pouches which are on the Officer kit. A E-tool (shovel) model on the flak would be nice too. I am sure the rest of the factions carry similar things, so this wouldn't just apply to the USMC.

You won't get that problem if you change your socks.

Yeah im hoping for the new player models too. Thats why i gave them some pics of the flaks and all that good shit too but no E-tool though. We keep that **** on our packs.
