Are there Project Reality Servers with Punkbuster Disabled?

Hey guys,

Sorry if this is an easy question and/or has been answered elsewhere.

Just spent all day installing BF2, downloading mods etc only to find that Punkbuster is incompatible with Windows 7 (my current OS), and I'm kicked after 20 seconds.

Now, rather than re-installing Windows Vista, are there any servers minus punkbuster? All the ones I search for in-game have it enabled, is there any other way to search/find servers which have Punbuster disabled?

If anyone can help, or point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

i believe punkbuster is a requirement for getting a PR server license.

so best bet might be PRSP.

Should have not deleted your old windows, Especially if all you had planned was installing a beta OS. Reinstalling vista or xp would be your only choice unless PB decides to release a new client for w7

Not sure if it works, but you might have a chance setting compatibility to XP (right click on your PR chortcut, click properities, compatibility tab, and select windows XP). Please note that I have no idea of windows 7's functions, and what I say is based off of windows Vista (but there must be some way of getting it working, as some people here sem to be using win7 (think UKForce does))
