Pence: so far the discussed scenario have been on what the MEC WOULD be if they are actually being formed IRL. I mean hey.... if we insist that MEC can become a professional army with top of the line hardware in 5 years time (which is a miracle or absolute non sense given the current condition of middle eastern countries army condition), then we can also insist the IDF is a super army with absolutely no trouble in handling the fictional MEC.
anyway, i am getting sidetracked a bit:
hmmm.. what about a recreation of the yom kippur war scenario with modern hardware? One of the hardest fight i can recall in IDF history when they repelled the invasion. Same scenario and area, but with modern hardware.

She* and yes I am talking about in real life. You need to realise Pence that BF2 is fake and has nothing to do with reality.

Read that 7 times, and convince yourself it is true. Otherwise... please stop arguing you're incompetent point.
OMG!

We are da winnz0rs! We are 1337! U R D4 Nub3! I'm just kidding Pence.
Look, I respect your view on the topic. I only got annoyed because you didn't really argue your point more than "the MEC has T-90's in the game!" If you wanna continue a friendly debate on that other thread I made, feel free. Make up a plausible story on how the MEC got the T-90's and how they were able to make a competant army.
Now, I'm straying again from the topic.
I'd like to see an urban map in Syria.

And we are talking about real life situations, which is what a Realism mod is suppose to do. Make it as realistic as possible.

I guess we were all getting carried away by my silly argument. (And i never once said that anythink in BF2 is realistic that relates to this topic; Arikara)
But on a retireing note; i was only pointing out that the MEC
have
this equipment and that supposidly they
are profetional. I guess the MEC should go all-together then.
You should be able to starve to death </sarcasm>
You should be able to eat food

Blue stilton anyone?

I would too, there is so much more to war than fighting. Exsamples include who gets the eggs and who gets the most beacon flavoured ****.
For dinner its the old chackalaka sprayed steak, millipop and sauce followed by caramel pumpkin for desert.
Now can we be serious?

I checked with the merkava MK4 pictures, nope.. that's a pretty accurate rendition of it.
And if these are all your own render work Godzilla then i'd say that's a mighty damn good job.
And the machine guns on the merkava (at least 3 usually i counted) makes sense since they are mostly used in urban warfare while supporting infantries. But the tank itself don't carry thoose for armour engagement i would believe on normal basis. (except that the merkavas are used far more on urban warfare operation than a true MBT fight)
PS: and i am also curious on the latest info, is the Namera (the proposed heavy APC to replace Achzarit in heavy engagement area) active on duty now? Last i heard they were trialled on some units but i've not heard ever since.

The Namera is in test service with the Givati forces, i have some pictures of it but i will post them later on today.
And yes all of thouse render works are mine, the thing is that i can add some MG's on them but it will be more polyed model, if Reality mod will want to add an Israeli side in the mod, you guys free to use these models

Godzilla, those models are awesome. How long did they take to make (and what programs)

The Achzarit took me about 2 days if i can remember.
The Merkava 4 tank is like the 4'th version i made, i remodeled from scratch all the time becouse of lack of good blueprints, this is the final version i got, its still a WIP)
Thouse models (and more 3D work and media i have) were for a mod i planed some time ago, called Blueshield, the mod was canceled do to lack of team work and if Reality mod will want to get an Israeli team ingame they free to use'm from my point of view
I would realy like to see IDF forces ingame fighting MEC or INS forces, specialy in urban fighting maps with little room for heavy tanks and air units, special map for infantry and APC units.
Zepheris Casull: the Merkava 4 use 2 MG's, one is the commander's MAG 7.62mm and the other can be installed on the main gun's nose, a 12.7mm MG as coexal.
3 MG's can only be used by the other group of Merkava tanks, like 2 and 3 as well as the Magach tank series (that retired in this year and used as target practise

) becouse of the loaders top hatch in thouse tanks, the Merkava 4 does not have a loader top hatch.
