I carried that along with my M-4/M203, 11 magazines (330 rounds of ammo), 14 40mm grenades, food and water to last 2 days, hand grenades, and two claymores. And some stuff to keep warm. And I was still able to run.
too bad we cant destroy buildings :(

could buildings be coded as bridges to allow them to be destroyed?

I highly doubt that. Destroyable buildings would ahve to be coded in to the game engine by the developer. I have played some games where you can do that, but the graphics suck.

I heard the theoretically you could use the in game physics for blowing up fences to make it apply to buildings

It's already been stated that we plan to include single-shot, disposable weapons like this as selectable or random kit items in the rifleman class. SMAW-D/BDM would be a good addition for infantry maps. :)

Destroyable buildings are possible, I heard. But it slows the engine down to much to do any good.

Could this sort of penetrating round be implemented? Perhaps two explosions, a small one on the impact point and the main one one meter past the impact point. This "buries" an explosion inside of a building to clear rooms inside.

AT guys are NOT underpowered. Handguns work as good as any other single fire gun. They just need to learn how to take cover on some occasions.

At least the Rifleman class can defend himself and his team from armour.

i really hope it isnt a random item...

that would be annoying hoping to spawn as a grenadier and get the AT launcher (especially if the enemy tank is already down)

You could still use the LAW similar to an M203/AG36.

Your kidding me right? The range and accuracy on a hand gun is NO WHERE near the same as a rifle. NO ONE will ever go up against a squad of infantrymen with a handgun, it's suicide.

Well, that would be the grenadier class. It would be an either/or thing, since there are only so many weapon slots we can use, and we want to include different rounds for the grenade launchers (marking smoke, HEDP, possibly buckshot, HE airburst, etc.) So, for example, it would probably be a selection or randomization between the single-shot disposable launcher (HEAT or HEDP, depending on the map) and claymore mines or another item.

HE Airburst, or bounding HE grenades are used by the Russians in the GP30 series of weapons. This round is called the VOG-25P. On impact with the ground, it springs up from .5 to 1.5 meters and detonates.

At one time the US had the 40mm M397A1 HE Airburst round for the M79/M203 that performed in a similar way.

Its 100% possible and I've done it many a time, amd that was on nilla BF2. U just have to know how to use it...

I still want a rifle/smg though

Thats the reason it was possilbe is beacuse you were on vanilla BF2 where the weapons fire in a cone not realistlicy in reality you could not do that.
